Upload the drawing set and extract what's on it

Specro reads the architectural set and pulls out roughly 190 structured fields across site, foundation, framing, envelope, roofing, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and interior finishes. What normally takes a project manager a day of page-by-page takeoff becomes a reviewed data set in minutes.

Every extracted field shows where it came from, so you review and correct rather than start from a blank page. Fields the drawings don't answer are flagged as gaps rather than silently guessed.

Define what the drawings never say

Drawings describe the finished building. They rarely describe site access, demolition extent, existing structural conditions, protection requirements, occupancy during construction, or the client's real priorities. Specro's project definition walkthrough captures that — and for renovations and additions you can upload site photos that the AI reads directly.

This is the step that separates a generic specification from one that reflects the actual job. It is also the step most software skips entirely.

Apply your builder standards and finish level

Your assemblies, your warranty positions, your product defaults, your inclusions and exclusions. Set once at the company level, applied automatically to every project. Pick the finish level and the expectations attached to it come with it.

The result: consistent documentation regardless of who in your office prepared it.

Generate the package

A full construction specification across 32 divisions, per-trade scope packages, a risk register, a procurement schedule with long-lead flags, and a selections schedule with deadlines. All generated from the same project record, all editable, all exportable.

As the project changes, regenerate. The documents stay consistent with each other because they share one source.

Readiness

A single score for whether this project is ready to build.

As each step completes, Specro scores project readiness and tells you exactly what is still open — the selection nobody has made, the trade scope nobody has issued, the long-lead item nobody has ordered. It is the answer to the only question that matters before you break ground.

How long does it take?
