You're not losing money because your team can't build.
You're losing money because information falls through the cracks between the drawing set, the estimate, the client's selections, and the trades on site. Specro closes those cracks before construction starts, not after.
Construction problems don't start on site.
They start months earlier — when critical information is missing, selections are delayed, procurement isn't coordinated, or scope is left open to interpretation. By the time the problem shows up in the field, it has already collected a change order, a schedule slip, and an uncomfortable conversation with the client.
Everyone involved is working hard. The project still suffers — not because of construction, but because of coordination, process, and missing information. That is a solvable problem, and it is solved before the shovel hits the ground.
- A window package isn't finalized before the framing package is priced
- An appliance specification never arrives, and the cabinet order goes out anyway
- A trade prices incomplete information and comes back with an extra
- A critical client selection is missed until the trade is on site
- A penetration isn't coordinated before the pour
- The super assumes the office handled it; the office assumes the field did

Common questions
- How is this different from construction project management software?
- Project management software runs the build: schedules, daily logs, RFIs, change orders, invoicing. Specro runs everything before that — defining the project, writing the specification, issuing trade scopes, and coordinating procurement and selections. Most builders use both. Specro is where the project gets defined; PM software is where the defined project gets executed.
- We already have specification templates. Why change?
- A template is a starting document. It doesn't know your site conditions, your finish level, your client's selections, or which long-lead items are unresolved — so a person has to reconcile all of that by hand, every project, and that person is the single point of failure. Specro generates the specification from the project record, so it is correct by construction rather than by diligence.
- Does it replace our estimator or project manager?
- No. It removes the mechanical assembly work — takeoff transcription, document formatting, cross-checking one document against another — so experienced people spend their time on judgment instead of typing. Everything Specro generates is reviewed and edited by your team before it leaves the office.
- What about renovations and additions?
- That is where Specro is strongest. Renovation risk lives in the things drawings don't show — existing conditions, demolition extent, structural unknowns, access. Specro captures those explicitly, including site photos the AI reads, and reflects them in the specification, scopes, and risk register.
- How long before we see value?
- The first project is where you configure your builder standards and finish levels. From the second project onward, the documentation cycle is dramatically shorter and consistent across whoever prepares it.
